2016 

Administrative Assistant II at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine - Office of Continuing Medical Education

Under the direction of the OCME Manager, Administrative Assistant 2 provides general support to the Office's educational activities, accreditation reporting, and daily operations through a range of functions, including basic accounting and financial processing, direct communication with CME partners, website maintenance, logistics, scheduling, and program data collection.

Administrative Assistant 2 also supports the CME team's Project Specialists and undertakes a variety of assignments and projects at the discretion of the OCME Manager. This role is responsible for all aspects of the Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) data management process, including training of departmental contacts on database use and requirements for CME reporting compliance. As a member of the OCME team, Administrative Assistant 2 will staff occasional local conferences, as requested.

2015

Administrative Assistant IV (TEMP) at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine - Development and Alumnae Relations

 

Provided executive-level administrative support to the Vice Dean for Development and Alumni Relations/Northwestern Medicine Executive for Development, as well as three other senior leaders within the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine's Office of Development and Alumni Relations. Coordinated budget and fundraising activity reporting, including creating and managing acknowledgment letters, stewardship report mailings, and other correspondence to donors for a variety of Department Chairs, Division Chiefs, and other physicians. Managed scheduling, meeting and event coordination, document production, activity tracking, purchasing and reimbursements, and record-keeping.

2007 - 2015

Program Assistant II for DePaul University, College of Law

 

Administrative Support
Assisted the directors of the Center for Dispute Resolution and Health Law Institute in an administrative tasks.  Coordinated course needs for 9 dispute resolution/mediation courses. Composed communications as needed and directed.  Formatted, revised, and proofread documents for Center and Institute directors.  Processed payment paperwork and reconciled receipts with chargers to the Institute’s and Center’s accounts.  Secured travel arrangements and accommodations for directors and guest speakers.  Managed case docket database.
Event Planning and Management
Coordinated and facilitated events, mediation conferences, colloquia, training programs, and seminars.  Developed menus, secured venues, prepared materials, and managed communication with participants. Prepared and secured documentation for participants for CLE, researched and corresponded with inquiries, compiled packets, and submitted to CLE Coordinator.

Membership Services Assistant for Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc, International Headquarters

 

Served membership of 74,000+, Board of Directors, affiliates, vendors, and professional affiliated organizations.  Managed the membership intake process, including verifying documentation submitted for prospective members, processing applications, and approving membership. Supervised staff of four to six employees, two to three student workers, and managed office in the absence of the Executive Director.  Developed financial reports, and processed all incoming funds, including chapter fees, membership dues, and bank deposits, Aided in the establishment of procedures and preparation for biennial international conferences, including securing contracts, managing registration, organizing travel, and supervising onsite office.
